2025 Highlight
STEM for All Leadership Symposium
The second STEM for ALL Leadership Symposium was held in San Diego on November 14-16, 2025. This year’s agenda included even more collaboration, including a culminating Action Planning session and a student panel keynote. Topics covered included equitable AI implementation, literacy through STEM, environmental science, mathematical equity, and teaching social justice in toxic times. We were honored to have special guests including Dr. Sheldon Eakins (podcasting live from the event!), Zaretta Hammond (virtual keynote), Dr. Jackie Sanderlin (facilitator and hype-woman), and Danna Thomas (mindfulness moments and decompression room).
The attendees were also treated to the first “STEM with a STEMist” event showcasing STEMists of color and their fantastic work, accompanied by the musical stylings of DJ Jay Storm. Our star STEMists included Dr. Tyrone Hayes, Dr. Anaí Novoa, Chad Montgomery, Dr. Desiré Whitmore, and Dr. Imani Munyaka among other notable names.
